adfire.digital Reading the machinery behind a display ad slot — one bid request at a time
adfire.digital  /  What this site is

What this site is, and what it deliberately does not do

adfire.digital exists to explain machinery that is publicly specified but rarely read: the request format, the two declaration files, and the measurement thresholds that decide whether an impression counts. Every claim here is meant to be re-checkable at its source.

Method

Deliberate omissions

These absences are choices, not gaps waiting to be filled.

Not published here

  • Vendor comparisons or recommendations of any product.
  • Benchmark figures presented as typical, which vary too much to be meaningful without their original context.
  • Case studies, client results, or numbers that a reader cannot reproduce.

Not offered here

  • Services, consulting, audits or media buying of any kind.
  • Advertising inventory, brokerage, or any paid placement.
  • Any commercial relationship with the specification bodies or companies named on these pages.

Corrections

Specifications are revised and thresholds are restated. Where a page here disagrees with the document it cites, the cited document is correct and this site is wrong. Each page names its sources for exactly that reason: the source outranks the summary.
